If you dont re-qualify for the level you were at the prior year, is there a "soft landing" of sorts to the next level down, or is it possible to crash down to whatever lower tier you actually may have qualified for?

Also, does anyone know the date your elite level status expires?

Unsure if the rules and procedures are all different now as well based on the new program?

My situation: I am currently Titanium Elite , but i only qualify now for Gold Elite based on my Amex Platinum card.

Should i expect to be downgraded to just Platinum Elite - or fall all the way to Gold?
