Stayed here on a work trip recently with a colleague. Very nice hotel, lounge and rooftop restaurant. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it.

We booked club king rooms for around £110 / person / night and the room was nice. In fact it was the best hotel and room I had with Marriott during our trip.

A few pictures of the room and bathroom for those interested. Everything was clean and in a good state of repair. The lounge was a central inner courtyard space on the 5th floor and nicely done with natural light coming down from above and a nice open space. There was table service and nice choice of drinks as well as food. Excellent service here in the lounge.

We ate at the rooftop restaurant and the food was lovely, reservation needed as it was popular and full, even midweek. Prices weren't too bad. Again excellent service.

We did try the lobby coffee area on a few occasions and mostly it was good for getting a speciality coffee and a quick bite to eat but one time there was an incredible delay in bringing the hot food ordered to the point we almost had to leave without having received it after an hour but the service recovery was good and thereafter things ran smoother.

Even the view from the hotel wasn't too bad given the construction of the new public transport going on nearby and the usual chaos on the roads. Certainly Pune felt greener than the other places I visited with some foliage and plants around and decent warm temperatures.

The manager here was very proactive and even provided us with some take away gifts typical of the local area on check out which was a nice touch. (given I'm only gold and my colleague is only Titanium)
