Hi folks!

Taking advantage of rare upgrade availability on AA's nonstop service to Dubrovnik, I've booked an eight-night visit to Croatia for this August (for me, Mrs. ClipperJCM and our two-year-old son). I know this is peak tourist season and so getting around the country will be more difficult than at other times, so I'm wondering if anyone had suggestions for an ideal itinerary for first-time visitors. We're open to all sorts of adventures--city visits, islands, daytrips to Montenegro; plus ferry rides, car rentals and the like--but with a two-year-old in tow, we'd prefer to minimize hotel movements if possible. (To be clear, a few check-ins are fine. Six different beds in eight nights would be... challenging.)
