Just to state the obvious, the Cadillac is obviously not affiliated with Hyatt. If you are Hyatt Globalist I can't imagine NOT wanting a Hyatt property for the obvious benefits (which are superior to Marriott's corresponding benefits in almost every way possible.)

In terms of breakfast, yes it's been reported that it's only the buffet now, HOWEVER, in my experience this is frequently a function of poorly trained staff or a temporary/quickly reversed change. The Hyatt T&C's imply that ordering from the menu is allowed (admittedly there's some ambiguity and I'm NOT trying to reopen that debate).... what I AM saying is that a) I know Hyatt Corporate wants the properties to allow menu ordering (this is from my contact with a GM over this issue) and b) at properties where I've seen limits imposed that don't align with the T&C's (such as requiring the buffet when a menu option is available) I've also seen those decisions quickly reversed when challenged. The easy solution is to simply ignore whatever your told, order what you want off the menu, write "Globalist Tip" on the tipline when you pay, and see what happens. If they try to charge you, bring it up after you depart (with your concierge or with the hotel's GM) and you'll see it quickly reversed (and the policy probably changed at the hotel).
