TK is sending status information to all other airlines correctly. Air Canada is the only airline that reflects the status wrong. Obviously, this is not a screw up by TK if Air Canada cannot process the information received correctly. We don’t even know if this is an isolated incident or a common issue with Air Canada flights. TK customer service is not the best as we all know, but it doesn’t make sense to blame TK on issues that it doesn’t have anything to do with. It would be nice if TK talked to Air Canada but that will not happen by complaining to 5 different phone agents, it would only happen if the OP sent a detailed and clear feedback form requesting communication between the two airlines. Alternatively, because the issue is with Air Canada’s IT processing information wrong, Air Canada should be very easily verify TK Elite’s *G equivalency.
