Yes I was upgraded to a Miraval Suite King.
I stayed here for two nights as a solo male traveler and had an absolute blast. Few tips:
1. You can sign-up for classes as early as 11am on the day of check-in, and up to 1:30pm on the day of check-out. So I feel like I was able to do three days of activities even while staying two nights.
2. The staff are excellent, and the food is super tasty.
3. There are a wide variety of activities and I did a mixture of challenge/adventure, meditation, cardio, equine, and health. The challenge courses ones (walk on a log 25ft in the air, desert zipline, swing across ropes on a tightrope 35ft in the air) are all really good and fun. The meditation/health ones were awesome. The only letdown was cardio drumming (they said it was super popular) - you kind of just tap on a gym inflated ball, and it's barely exercise.
4. The horse one was also out of this world. You don't ride the horse in most of them - in mine, we had to steer the horse strictly by using our intentions and energy. There is a stick to help guide, but you don't actually touch or talk to the horse. It made me much more aware of my intentions.
5. Some of the classes are really out there like unlocking chakras and making malas and energy crystals. I think there is value in meditation and understanding your energy, but I don't think making toy crystals is going to help heal anything. Similarly, I heard the psychics classes were kind of a waste.
6. Suite upgrade proactively offered.
7. The resort is fantastic and the employees, again, are super nice. Probably the best experience I've ever had.
Overall, I think two days was really good for me and I loved the classes I did. I would encourage visitors to do at least one or two "out there" classes.. like the horse one for me. If I stayed more days I think I'd have gotten a little bored of the stuff. Awesome experience overall.
