The situation is unfortunate but there is no remedy to the issue.
When you attempt to book that flight in business class, a warning pops up stating "For safety reasons, plus size passenger and passenger travelling with infant are prohibited from travelling on business class of Boeing 787-9 aircraft. Please choose an alternative flight or contact THAI reservation/ticketing office." So this would not be a surprise.
