There are two reasons. One is the extra EQM's. Second is the fact that for the F price you get the lie-flats, and for the Y price you get the PE cabin. The trip isn't usually this long either; usually there is an 8:10 connection arriving LAS at 9:20. It's pretty much immaterial to me whether I leave PHL at 3:50 or 5:50, if I'm going to spend some of the extra time napping in a lie-flat. It does make a difference to me what time I arrive in LAS. It usually takes two hours for me to get the rental car, stop for a snack at the chicken finger place I like, and make a grocery store run. So yes, I do dislike getting there as late as 10:30.
