I've noticed an updated policy regarding JGC's renewal qualification:
https://www.jal.co.jp/en/jalmile/jgc...orld.html#info

Starting from the membership renewal period for the 2021 service year, there will be changes to the qualification criteria for automatic membership renewal.
Your membership will be automatically renewed for the 2021 service year if you earn at least 35,000 FLY ON Points or fly on at least 14 qualifying JAL international flights that are eligible for JMB mileage accrual during the calendar year from January through December 2020.
So from my understanding, it simply means the amount of FOP needed to renew without deducting the 5000 miles is now 35000 instead of 25000 (or 14 instead of 10 JAL intl flights), but one can still renew membership paying 5000 annual miles. Is that how this should be understood?
