Not in my 20's anymore - so the long flights in economy tend to take a toll ! Was upgraded once on British & now there is no going back to economy for me either !

Having said that - my choice of flying to Asia in business class would depend on the pricing on these 3 airlines. Etihad has cheaper business fares on more dates than Qatar/Emirates. How would you rate or compare the business class from these 3 ? I personally have been flying Emirates for a while & they are my absolute favorite. Am a sucker for those walnut wood trim cabins & the light beige colored seats ! One thing I was surprised about was that Emirates does not have a dine on demand option in business. When my relatives mentioned it - will be very honest - I did not believe them . But then I checked it online. Wow - was really surprised because it did not even cross my mind that they would not have this option. And if you sleep through the meal - then I guess no food till the next meal service - which I find to be ridiculous in business from a top rated airline.

So - what do you folks think ? How do the 3 airlines compare ? Any old tired aircraft dogs that need to be avoided seating wise etc ? Thanks.
Do you have elite status in any of the global airline alliances? If not, there's another reason to choose QR for this trip: By crediting the four QR Business Class flights to the Iberia Plus program, you would have oneworld Ruby status (lowest elite tier) upon your return to the U.S., and you would be achingly close to oneworld Sapphire status (middle tier). Sapphire status would get you a host of bennies when flying AA in Coach: free Main Cabin Extra seats at booking; free checked baggage; free same-day standby; Boarding Group #3 (out of 9); access to Business Class check-in desks; and Admirals Club access -- even when flying AA domestically!
