No, you're not paying attention. Access to contract lounges only applies in some circumstances: "At airports where neither a Star Alliance branded lounge nor a Star Alliance member carrier offers a lounge, third party lounges are contracted by some of our member airlines."

Every airport you're at has a Star Alliance lounge, specifically an AC lounge. So the whole business of contract lounges is not applicable.

You have access to the MLLs, and not the AA lounge.
