I think it is a pretty good sized room. And you might get upgraded to an Exec river view which is very nice. You should give them a ring to ask if family suites get lounge access.

I had another more recent stay and the hotel and staff are still great. I met the Mayor of Lyon in the club lounge. It is still very popular with the locals.
