Thanks everyone for the comments, there were many good thoughts here. I decided we will do it mainly as many say its a once in a lifetime event and also I have over 3M miles, and am very concerned with the AAlaska / AA marriage and Oneworld coming up that I will be taking a big haircut in the not too distant future. It will be fun!
