I have 1:42 layover to get through US Preclearance in Terminal 1 at Toronto Pearson. Both flights are Air Canada. I have GE. As I understand it I go up an escalator near gate D20 and go through security again then US customs. How does my checked bag get through customs without me? What is the wait time for this process on a Saturday at noon? Is this the same US Preclearance line as used by passengers not transferring from a domestic flight?
