I did a Bing search and didn't come up with anything useful. This is a general question that may apply to many FTers. Specifically, I have reserved several hotels/rooms in Peru. Choosing Peruvian Sols is not a currency option, so right now all of the reservations are in USD. Assuming a credit card without a foreign transaction fee and I want to pay in Sols, how does the hotel decide the final cost - 'its' exchange rate or the exchange rate posted by, say, XE.com for that moment?
