Stayed here a few weeks back. Excellent hotel overall, and the benefits for Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador members were astounding.

Here are just a few:

• Free breakfast on Award stays. Breakfast is the quality that you'd expect at a five-star hotel.
• Coupon for one afternoon tea for two in the lobby. With all the food/pastries they give you, it's essentially a free lunch.
• Free cooking class for two. This was really cool - the Head Chef at the hotel taught a class on how to make Omani food. A $120 value.
• Free drink coupons for every night of the stay.

Overall this is an excellent property. Although Oman is quite far from the USA (no direct flights yet), it is a hidden gem.
