Was in Chicago last weekend and used rideshare a few times and decided to check both lyft and urber. There was one time Uber was cheaper even after the 15 percent off on lyft and Lyft was cheaper the other times.

First time I used Uber because it was still less cash out of pocket after the $15 Am Ex credit and used Uber the other time it was cheaper and Lyft the rest of the trips.

Something to keep in mind is that it sounds like the Lyft drivers also suffer with Lyft pink and don't get as much per ride, so raise the tip a little bit on those rides.
