My daughter (ex GGL now silver) has just found from BA app her 08:55 LHR to EDI cancelled on Mon 17. She is travelling with her 2 children and returning from ABZ on Thursday. No email or text yet from BA. She had already done OLCI. MMB not working and contact centre closed. Expertflyer shows 0 availability across all classes and all LON to EDI routes on Monday.
We’ve found and booked Flybe LHR to EDI on Monday at a reasonable £303 for the three of them on the 14.10 flight. Clearly waiting till Monday morning would not be practical.
She lives an hour away from LHR so turning up early for her cancelled flight and hoping to get rebooked isn’t that practical. Does she stand any chance of getting BA to pay for the Flybe tickets. Her tickets were Avios reward bookings.
UK call centre is shut but ring on the US exec number that is open for few more hours
