I appreciate your experience, but I’m simply relaying how the solution works. There are only 2 BA-designed and BA-operated systems in the DCS: the front end and SIP middleware. The middleware performs only calls and at best does some translation of the returned data, but mainly acts as a “belt conveyor”. The front end has no power to modify a booking unless an user makes a mistake.

Unpalatable as it might be, the issues you have experienced can be attributed to BA only in case of a mistake done by one of its employees in handling your bookings.
