Ok my question is similar. We fly F from BKK to AMS. The flight lands in ZRH at 7pm and the connection is in the morning to AMS but of course its in a business cabin. All one ticket. So what happens in ZRH will we get a hotel courtesy of LX?
Being familiar with this kind of situation I would:
1. Use the SQ lounge in BKK, better than the "fake smiles Thai pomp" TG F lounge.
2. After my private transfer (arriving LX F) to dedicated immigration and security screening walk in 1 minute directly to the F lounge in the Schengen zone and have a nice dinner there. Try the "Geschnetzeltes und Rösti".
3. Given that my bags are checked through head to the Radisson airport hotel (less than 3 minutes walk) and stay in an upper floor runway view room (prepaid for value).
4. The next day leave the hotel 20 minutes prior to boarding time and use fast track security proceeding to the gate - no time for lounge here (alternatively have breakfast in the new Alpine lounge and leave 50 minutes before boarding).
btw: SQ makes the same fuss about F to C transfer at their main hub
