What day / time was it? At least originally they were stopping the PIN service at midnight PST but I think that changed after mass confusion.
Also OT but I think both Sapphire and most Inks blow away the Freedom this quarter for Lyft... CSR is literally 10x right now and I have to admit I'm abusing that for all it's worth. Unless that's your only Chase card, I'd look to a different payment option.
