To add an infant-in-lap for an international DL itinerary (US to Europe, in case that matters), this DL page https://www.delta.com/us/en/children.../infant-travel instructs us to call DL so the infant an be added to the ticket (and charge us whatever they will charge). My question for anyone who's actually added an infant -- when you add an infant to the ticket, does the ticket get *reissued*? i.e. is there a new ticket number assigned? The original ticket will be 006 stock, and the flight is US to Europe, in case either of those facts are pertinent.
