Is YOW just a quiet airport or was it just the time of day? Anytime we've gone through YYZ, its always heaving!
It seems Ottawa YOW is always quiet nequine with the exception of the before / after work hour commuter rush. Unless you're passing through between 4-7 PM or 7-9 AM, it's pretty deserted in my experience. It's a vast contrast than to Toronto

Those Volvo wagons are pretty sweet, I enjoyed mine and it was exciting to see in a rental car fleet.
Thanks wakesetter. I think that's one of the best parts of Hertz; the fact that they have these Volvo's in their fleet. I've had great luck being upgraded to them and I'd easily take a Volvo upgrade anytime.

In regards to your flight, while the breakfast on the AC CRJ-900 looks a bit dated, at least it's better than the snack basket which is typically the food service when flying up front on a CRJ in the US.

Thanks for sharing!
757 - I would totally agree. I'm always a bit surprised when you take a shorter 2 hour flight in the US and are presented with a snack basket of chips or nuts. That works out well if you're ending after two hours, but if you keep going, you end up starving (laughing)
