It’s pretty unbelievable that Marriott doesn’t even send out birthday greeting emails to its elite members. Even if they are not giving out bonus points, elite night credits or whatever, their system could easily send out an email with birthday wishes and thanking members for their loyalty.
I got birthday greetings from various airlines and even the Courtyard Shatin (have only stayed there once!).
I don’t care that much but it just seems like good PR (and very little cost for Marriott) to do so.
