The wallet is leather, just like the old one. It never set off the metal detectors before I transferred the CSR from my notebook to the wallet. I was befuddled as to why I was setting off the metal detectors the past couple of weeks but frankly didn't have time to puzzle over it. Reading this thread reminded me that the CSR is metal and that gave me the "Aha!" insight. I'm pretty convinced it's the card but I'll be sure Monday when I fly again and have the card in my notebook again.
