It happened to me recently, so I was pleasantly surprised. I had to cancel my FN booking due to a change in plans. The cert didn't show up automatically when I cancelled my reservation online (like it used to). So, I found an email on FT and emailed them to inquire and they were able to redeposit the cert back to my account w/ a new expiration date!
My free night certificate expires in 12 days. Is that too short of a time frame to make a reservation, cancel it, and (hopefully) request a replacement certificate if mine doesn't' get redeposited automatically?
