This pilot has done many tech stops and/or left many bags/pax behind in IAH and is even more passionate about it being a terrible plane for the route than I am.

I don't know that an E75 has the legs to do it. AA does YYC-DFW on them, but I think IAH might be just slightly too far. The US3, including AA, also seem to mainly or exclusively use the E75 Advanced or whatever it is with the very different wingtips than the ones that AC has, which I believe reduces fuel burn and adds range. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see an E75 on the route if they could handle it, but my understanding is that they can't.

Long ago I had hoped that it might go to an E90 at some point, but with those all leaving the fleet fairly soon, it's either stuck with the crappy CR9s or an upgauge to 223. Pretty huge jump in capacity. So I suspect we're stuck.
