This also happened on the BA34 that arrived at KUL this morning (Friday14th). We were already late as departed KUL an hour late due to requiring 5.5 tonnes of cargo to be offloaded once everyone had boarded. Nearing Heathrow, the Captain announced there would be a short delay of 10 minutes before we could disembark once we reached the gate whilst the Port Health Officer confirmed the paperwork. However, soon after arriving, all the crew quickly adopted face masks and in the end we were onboard for well over an hour whilst a potentially suspect passenger was checked by a Doctor. Luckily all was ok and we eventually disembarked without any further ado.

The Captain mentioned this has happened to quite a few flights (presumably from Asia). But better safe than sorry.

On the the plus side, it was great to have all the bags already waiting for us at luggage reclaim
