I think I have a problem since I just applied for the JetBlue Barclays card and they seem to be historically a pain in the butt even with high credit score customers! Is the credit card the only option? I'm not seeing anything on the credit card application page that mentions it giving any type of status.

Would transferring in points from AMEX or Chase work? I know I can buy FTL status back at Euro 500 but that is definitely the least favorable option.
