I have not flown LH for some time. Looking at a PE fare from YYZ-BOM-YYZ. Outbound is AC direct. Return is on LH BOM-FRA-YYZ.
How is PE on these segments (seat comfort, dining, etc).
I am not familiar with LH seat layout. Where is PE and how many rows ? Is it a dedicated cabin with its own washroom?
I assume there is seat back entertainment - I will have a younger kid and hopefully there is sufficient English programming for kids.
Does anyone have any comparison to AC PE ? I have flown AC PE a few times. No dedicated cabin, decent IFE, almost same meal as Y.
Thanks in advance.
Havent done the 744, but done lots of 330/350/380. The meal isn’t a pretend J meal like AC, but it’s equally high quality if not better. The only nuisance is the little wine glass they use for all drinks - alchoholic and non alchoholic.

Menus can be found here (even PY):

The seat quality is better - Bulkhead row have leg/calf rests, and the seats are rarely stained/ armrests rarely missing chunks of material unlike the beat up AC 77L PU cabins. Bright and clean cabins - much better than whatever AC’s aiming for with its dark colours and generally low cleanliness standard. Higher quality amenity kit too.

Personally, flown the AC 787 PY to DEL exactly once before abandoning it for LH via MUC (350). J is a different ballgame. FWIW, my record of op ups on non-N class class LH PY bookings is really, really good, in case you’re booked on the others.
