Well it is Air Canada’s problem though, I’ve never had an issue with TK *G status. TK elite is the equivalent of *G and if Air Canada is not recognizing this it is a problem with Air Canada.

do not trust what TK customer representatives are telling you, they are very clueless about many things as they are only contract employees. That fifth employee obviously didn’t know what he/she was talking about. The real TK customer service office can be reached via the feedback form on the website, and they would tell you that TK Elite is the equivalent of Star Alliance Gold. You should be talking to Air Canada, which is not having its best time with customer service as far as I see.
