I've been having a pretty large issue with my Star Alliance Gold Status with my Turkish Airlines Elite card. Basically, my boarding passes says TK*S when it should say TK*G for all Air Canada flights. After speaking to at least 5 people from Turkish Airlines, my last call confirmed that Turkish Airlines is telling Air Canda that their Elite card holders have only Silver status (TK*S), which is contrary to the listed benefits of Turkish Airlines website (https://www.turkishairlines.com/en-a...ogram-content/)

The representitive said they are escalating the issue since I showed him that the website says Elite members are Star Alliance Gold. I've been a member for almost 5 years, and I've never seen anything like this. Getting denied at lounges is not fun, and the worst part is that Turkish Airlines has been blaming Air Canada this whole time, until I reached the 5th person.
