Paris Museum Pass is a good deal if you know you'll be visiting some of the other main attractions in Paris, otherwise just buying individual tickets will probably be cheaper. As far as transit goes, a Navigo card plus the applicable pass will likely be your best option. The space for the picture on the Navigo card is actually a bit smaller than a 2x2 (inches) US passport photo. The size for the picture on the Navigo card is 3cm x 2.5 cm, or about 1.2x1.0 (inches). I figured out my drivers license picture is almost exactly that size. So I just copied that and cut out the photo, and brought it with me to paste onto the Navigo card. Saved me 5 euros for the photo at the station, and a couple of minutes.
You could also scan your passport photo and resize it to 3x2.5 cm using a site like this.
