Had an equipment change and ended up on one of the 767-300's (ET-ALP) - First time in J on one of the 767's since they put in the newer seats.
Great foot space, and the IFE screens on there are really slick looking. But that's about where the positives ended for the hard product. Service was great though.
I found the seats to be quite uncomfortable when seated, though fine when in lay-flat mode. Though the transition from seating to lay-flat was very loud and clunky
IFE was provided by a streaming service that one supposedly could access on the screens or on their own personal device (Essentially the same as what they had put on the 737MAX). Screens, though large and seemingly of exceptional quality, were actually pretty useless. There was a technician on the flight moving people around because either the screens weren't working / touch wasn't working or the remotes were shoddy (or in some cases had been torn off).
Overall, despite a newish-looking appearance, really seemed to be falling into disrepair rather quickly. Glad I was only on it for 5 hours and not an overnight.
