I'm a novice at this, but I find it odd that an airline can have a schedule change and thereby potentially give you an "illegal" or "invalid" routing on an already scheduled award trip. I called about our new ORD-LAX and vv legs and waited until the CR pronounced the schedule change (an hour difference) acceptable. Weird.
