So how does SQ know you are Gold? Do you just show your membership card (digital or physical)? If I credit to Alaska, SQ has no idea that I am *A Gold, since my boarding pass wouldn't show that. I've read in the past that your *A membership must be tied to the ticket (and your membership card doesn't suffice). Would love to be proved wrong!

Good point about the Gold lounges being ordinary. Might have a better time anyway using my expense account in Jewel and then visiting PP lounges.

Btw... if you are United Gold, why are you crediting to SQ?
