Going waaaay off topic here....Zandra Rhodes lives in Del Mar, in an ocean front home, and has a studio on trendy Cedros Street in Solana Beach. I'm sure it's her I saw in the parking lot outside of her studio - there aren't many middle aged women with flaming pink hair. She and her partner are leading socialites in San Diego society, and are very active in the arts.

Back on topic - we have one and only one nonstop European flight out of Lindbergh field, a BA flight from SAN-LGW. The local paper had an article just a couple weeks ago as to how Zandra (along with some of our European Nobel laureates who work at Salk Institute)can often be found in the first class cabin of this BA flight.
