If you have not yet moved I have a size 800 animal crate built by Gradlyn Pet Shipping services in Frankfurt. You can't send it as excess baggage, it has to go as cargo. The crate is very large (my senior greyhound fit very comfortably) and comes with a water bucket with an external filling funnel. I have it on eBay for $450 but if you PM me I can give you a good price for it as a favor to a fellow solder (I am a Marine veteran).
I really appreciate the thought! We are already here in Vicenza though. Ended up having to use a pet shipper for my female and leave my male behind as the giant crate was not big enough for him. They quoted close to 10k for a custom crate and his shipping fees. 😟
Cost us 3k to ship my female who I ended up using a giant crate for.
