By minimum allowed, is that to say that CX will protect you if your miss your flight because of a delayed ferry? I'll be visiting Macau later this spring (assuming that the ferries are up and running again). Another related question, I'm meant to break my journey in HKG en route from LHR to SYD for about 30 hours to go to Macau. Would CX allow me to check my bag all the way to SYD from LHR even though the layover exceeds 24 hours?

given the current uncertainty, i suggest waiting a bit to refine your plans as situation, restrictions and operating flights can change quickly.
