OK, I would ask if anyone has had such experience -
A friend told me that in his Private Group there are several DPs that when a reservation with a FN cert is canceled, the returned FN cert has a new one year expiration date.
Personally since I have not had experience on such, I would like to ask, does anyone in the community has seen such thing happened? I know last year the FN cert returned immediately from cancellation except in cases the cert somehow is stuck at the hotel's side - but the cert returned carried the same expiration date instead of being "renewed".
It happened to me recently, so I was pleasantly surprised. I had to cancel my FN booking due to a change in plans. The cert didn't show up automatically when I cancelled my reservation online (like it used to). So, I found an email on FT and emailed them to inquire and they were able to redeposit the cert back to my account w/ a new expiration date!
