What I don't fully understand is what the GP clinic in Brighton is doing in all this. My recollection of when he was first diagnosed is that news outlets and PHE made a song and dance about the fact that "he didn't attend A&E but called 111 for advice and then was diagnosed before being transferred to London". Was he diagnosed at the GP clinic? That appears reckless in terms of protocol. Or did he actually attend the GP clinic before getting the call from SG, and then dialling 111?
