Work going on at hotel made me leave in a hurry to brand new HIS across from convention center. HIS Columbus better than the DT Columbus anyday. Plus the HIS $99 rate beat the $169 at DT for sure. Even as Gold DT's efforts to please me failed and when we went to HIS they treated us like kings. The suites there are very nice, beat the run down DT anyday. Consider it despite the triple airline miles offered at DT right now, change your HH profile so the HIS miles work out the same. As far as restaurants go, there are a ton near the the market district and arena district that are IDine participants and all are worth it. We ate at the seafood restaurant in the market and a place called something like "frog, bear and boar" near arena that were smokin cheap and excellent food, not to mention the dollar domestics happy hour ALL DAY!!!!
