I’m happy Delta’s agents were able to waive change fees for you all - but that is perhaps the easiest thing they can do.

I think the rest of us are complaining about bad information, poorly trained reps, and some unfriendly reps. Both can be true, and our anecdotes don’t wipe yours out, or vice versa.

But - when a Supervisor doesn’t understand the difference between D1 marketed and FC marketed routes on domestic flights (and INSISTS ATL-SJU is a D1 route because it’s operated by a wide body aircraft) - that is a serious problem on the VIP line. Because DL came up with that distinction and complexity - so their agents should be well versed.

Same with when a Supervisor does not understand how DL marketed KL operates flights upgrade with a GUC. I could go on with more examples.

Point being - wonderful they waived the change fee(s) for you. But that is one of their easiest actions to do.
