Yea, completely agree, flying into EGE is a non event, I'd do that a million times before flying to DEN and driving, all else being equal.

Sure there are mountains around but the airport itself sits in the valley, other than spectacular scenery out the window the takeoffs and landings are largely no different than any other airport. Nothing to be scared or worried about, all the majors have been flying to EGE for years.
