We are planning a trip in January 2021. AA Flights have just been released and the price PHX to EGE looks good. Last time we went to Vail we flew to DEN and drove up (private car).

We are Australian and not used to big mountains! When I google EGE things like “dangerous airport” come up. Which is off putting. We have never flown on an Canadair RJ either.

Interested in any thoughts on how much more of a “thrill ride” landing at EGE might be compared to DEN.
