I'm currently in Madrid, half expected really, the 2115 BA465 to LHR cancelled at at some point this afternoon. I'm not sure what aircraft operates the outbound, but clearly that wasn't going to leave.

The auto-rebooking rather amusingly booked me MAD-FCO-LHR, with the Madrid to Rome sector departing some 6 hours before my flight was cancelled.

A quick call to the holiday duty office and I'm going home tomorrow afternoon with Iberia after a morning at work in my company's Madrid office, assuming they let me in... Staying near Opera, love Madrid. About to go find some Tapas, I've had worse delays.
