Settings->Network & Internet->Mobile Network->Advanced :Turn off "Automatically select network." Then, under "Choose Network" (wait a few minutes for results to appear) select "TW Mobile". After doing this I had an LTE connection without any issues the rest of my stay.

Please report in on the battery life when you have a good idea about it. I assume the camera is as good or better than the Pixel 3XL? night sight picture below.
