You cannot "transfer AMEX points to Etihad, Etihad to AA". Once ff miles are in Etihad they cannot be moved out
Etihah is ff partner of AA. Look in the AA forum for the thread on booking awards on EY
Or book an award from the EY ffp (look at the process on how this is done)
