IMHO the Renaissance is clearly the better of the two. Rooms a nicer, lounge offerings better, staff more fun to deal with. More than 20 stays at the Ren (mainly junior and some larger suites), one at the Sheraton in an Executive Suite. Sheraton felt one star inferior overall.
