Base points and partner's Travel Bank

Hi, apologies if this has been answered elsewhere - I searched around and couldn't find the information I was looking for.

Quick background:
  • I have Mosaic and want to continue earning it in the future.
  • I fly JetBlue either alone or with my wife, but she doesn't usually on her own.
And my questions:
  1. Is there a way to spend my wife's Travel Bank in such a way where the base points go to my account?
  2. If I speculatively book a flight for me and my wife, then later use my Mosaic benefit to cancel it, does her fare go to her Travel Bank?
I worry in particular that it may be a bad idea for me to speculatively book flights if both of us are flying. If canceled fares go to my wife's Travel Bank and then there's no way for me to get the base points when later spending it, it would make it harder for me to get Mosaic (I'm usually not too far over the threshold, so every base point helps).
